That same year, with her family, she emigrated to Massachusetts – initially to Westborough and then to Worcester. In 1960, after the birth of her second son, Richard Emory Wildt, the family moved to Bethlehem and eventually to Wassergass, Pennsylvania. In Bethlehem, for the next three decades, she was very active in Central Moravian Church, taught at Moravian Academy, was Director of Physical Education at the YWCA, and was a regular volunteer at St. Luke’s Hospital and associated programs of caring for the elderly in their homes. In recent years, she was a member of the Cathedral Church of the Nativity.
