Doras Ada Halley, 94, of Kellogg, Idaho, passed away June 24, 2019 at the Mountain Valley of Cascadia of Kellogg, Idaho. She was born July 8, 1924 in Mayberry, Maryland; Doras was the daughter of Lester and Mary (King) Baust.
Doras graduated from High School in 1943. On August 30, 1947 Doras was united in marriage to James Halley in Elkton, Maryland. Together they moved west to California and then later to the Silver Valley in 1971.
Doras stayed at home and raised her four children. In her free time she enjoyed going bowling, playing bingo and bridge. She also had a very creative side and was a very talented seamstress, painter and ceramics maker. Doras was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi.
Doras is survived by three children Janice Halley, Judith Halley and Larry Halley; two grandsons Dylan Halley and Jameson Halley; three great-grandchildren Annabelle Halley, Chelsie McCoy and Leah Frazier. Doras was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James, her son James Halley Jr. and two siblings Leona Arnold and Ivan Baust.
