Dora Marie Butler, 92, of Elkhart, passed away Monday, April 21, at her residence.
She was born March 2, 1922, in Warsaw to Roy R. and Marjorie M. (Longfellow) Ruse.
On June 21, 1944, she married the late Donald D. Butler in Warsaw. He passed away Feb. 23, 2010.
Survivors include her daughter, Deedee (Dan) Guss of Fort Wayne; son David (Paula) Butler of Lake, Mich.; two grandchildren, Monty Langwell and Robert Langwell Jr., both of Elkhart; great-granddaughter Ani Langwell of Elkhart; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Wilma Barsh and Janice Andrews.
Dora was previously employed at Elkhart Products for several years. She was a member of Edwardsburg Presbyterian Church for more than 50 years and a former member of Delta Theta Tau. Dora and Donald resided on Garver Lake for 27 years and had many wonderful memories with family and friends there.
