Dora Lozano Berlanga
August 19, 1933 – April 14, 2021
Dora Lozano Berlanga, age 87, went home peacefully to be with the Lord on Wednesday April 14, 2021at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Aniceto Lozano and Dolores Gonzales Lozano in San Benito, TX August 19, 1933. She was one of eight children from that holy union.
Dora was a remarkable lady with a hard work ethic. She retired from La Hacienda Nursing and Rehab Center after 40 years of dedicated service as the supervisor of house keeping. She was a devout Catholic and life member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt, mother in law and friend. She was the matriarch of the Berlanga Family and will forever live in Our Hearts and minds.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jose Trinidad Berlanga Sr., three children, Rene Berlanga, Raquel Berlanga Garcia and Rolando Berlanga, five sisters, Leonarda, Angelita, Josefa, Dolores and Julia and her only brother, Salvador Lozano.
She leaves behind to cherish her beautiful memory six children, Jose Trinidad (Alicia) Berlanga, Rosalinda (Roy) Gomez, Rodolfo (Maria) Berlanga, Roberto (Doris) Berlanga, Rosalva (Clemente) Quintanilla and Ramon (Celina) Berlanga, 29 Grandchildren, 68 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren with 3 more on the way. She is also survived by one sister, Elodia Partida along with numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
The Berlanga Family would like to express a heartfelt and special Thank You to her daughter in laws, Alicia, Doris, Maria and Celina Berlanga, and also to Bee First Hospice & Home Health Staff for the outstanding care they gave and who helped care for Our beautiful mother, during her time of illness. We are so grateful for your generous tender loving care given to our Mom.
