Dora “Doodle” Gowans, 83, of Bridgeport, WV passed away on June 8, 2011. She was born August 12, 1927, in Flemington, WV, a daughter of the late James and Ruth (Gillis) Rosier. Mrs. Gowans was a member of the Hepzibah Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing around with politics. She was also preceded in death by her husband; Joseph Gowans, whom she married August 9. 1947. She is survived by one sister; Dot Mullens of Craigsville, WV and several nieces and nephews.
