Dora Coley Langley, 79, of Lake City, passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning, November 22, 2022 at the Haven Hospice – Suwannee Valley Care Center after a brief illness. She was born in Wayne County, NC on May 25, 1943 to the late Freeman Coley and Dora Mae Crumpler Coley. She has made Lake City her home for the last 34 years, moving here from the West Palm Beach area. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith; she also enjoyed cooking, fishing, softball, singing and playing the piano as well as gardening when she was able. She is preceded in death by her brothers, David Earl Coley, Jimmy Coley & Donald Coley; and her sisters, Mary Rose Pender, Mable Lee Williford and Elizabeth Pasha Newcomb.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Coy Lee Langley; her sons, Steven Lee Langley (Barbara), Kenneth Ray Langley (Kathy) & Richard Earl Langley; daughters, Tammie Lynn Paulin (Robbie) & Judy Rose Langley; and her brother, Freeman Coley, Jr.. Sixteen grandchildren along with numerous great-grandchildren also survive.
