My Dear Sweet Son, Donovan James Bowen, has left this place to be with Jesus in Heaven. He was killed on Monday, August 7th, when his truck went over the side of Lookout Mountain. Donovan is survived by his maternal Grandmother Irene Mascarenas of Pueblo, his mother Debra Mascarenas of Brighton, his two children Sydney and mason Bowen of Wheat Ridge and one sister Dandrae (Nick) Valenzuela of Brighton and a large extended family.
Donovan lit up the room when he walked in! He had a great sense of humor and if you were to spend time with him, you could count on a good laugh.
Donovan loved his children more than anything and he lived for the days that they spent together. Dono loved the Broncos and never missed a game. He passed that love onto Mason, who is a great football player himself, and he made every effort to watch him play!
