Mr. Stevens was born in Dublin, Georgia, on December 19, 1936, to the late Louie Stevens and Hazel Hornsby Stevens. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his late wife, Angie Stevens, and his daughter, Donna Stevens Parker. He was a dedicated husband and father who loved his family, cars, and Auburn football.
Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Linda Stevens of New Brockton; a daughter, Cheri Mertins (Mike) of Pensacola, Florida; a step-daughter, Leanne Ramsey (Mike) of Margaret, Alabama; grandchildren Matt, Lindsey, Justin (Taylor), Tyler (Asheleigh), Heather, Jennifer (Brian), and Todd; and 3 great-grandchildren.
