Donnie Francis (Harris) Griffin was called home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at the age of 93, on August 31, 2020.
Donnie Francis (Harris) Griffin was born October 25, 1926 to Thomas Edker and Ruby Viola (Hackworth) Harris. She married Berlie Griffin on February 22, 1944 in Claremore, OK. They had three children and spent 50 wonderful years together. Donnie spent her life caring for others – not only as a nurse, but as a mother, grandmother, and a friend to all those she came in contact with. She loved the Lord and was an active church member throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Sam Herron, and grandson, Robert Herron.
She is survived by her sister, Martha Duvall of Chelsea, OK, two sons, James Griffin and wife Carolyn of Hobbs, NM and Larry Griffin and wife Shelby of Roswell, NM. She also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends whom she dearly loved.
