Donnie (Butch) Thompson, age 74, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019. He was a member of Welcome Hill Baptist Church and served as a Trustee for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. WR Thompson and Mrs. Thelma Kerr; a sister, Nancy Coleman; and a special aunt, Myrtle Owens. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Phyllis Thompson of the residence; a special baby, Claire Duddleston; sister and brother in law, Janice and Steve Pass of Cleveland, TN; nephews, Bruce Coleman of Greenville, SC and Corey Pass of Cleveland, TN; several cousins; and a good friend, Bill Flowers of Dalton.
