Donna Sue (Speer) McPherson Pogue, of Brownstown, passed away peacefully on the afternoon of Tuesday October 5, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 78 years old.
Donna entered this life on March 15, 1943, in Jackson County, Indiana. She was the fourth daughter born to Everett and Ordella (Marsh) Speer. She was the loving sister to Wanda, Mary Lou, Lois, Hubert, Herbert, Gary Dean, And Ruth. On September 7, 1959, at Ft. Ritner, Indiana she married the love of her life, John D. McPherson. This union of almost 40 years were blessed with three children, John, Beverly, and Penny. John preceded Donna on March 8, 1996. Donna was able to find love again and was united in marriage to Allen D.
Donna was a devoted wife, loving mother, huggable Gram and Grandma.
She leaves memories of love with her children, John D McPherson and his wife Kathryn of Muncie, Bev Davers and her husband Bob of Brownstown, and Penny Hinderlider and her husband James of Brownstown, stepson David Pogue and his wife Karen of Hope, stepdaughter Wanda Holman and her husband Bob of Brownstown, grandchildren, Joel McPherson, Josh McPherson, Jenna McPherson, Johnathon Davers and his wife Hayley, and Jennifer Anderson, Paige Hinderlider, Levi Hinderlider and his fiancé Aimee Arthur, step grandchildren, Shawn Harris, Amber Thompson, and Matt Thompson, and many great-grandchildren, a sister, Mary Lou Speer of Bedford, brothers, Herb Speer and his wife Helen of Bedford, Stoney Speer and his wife Toni of Yorktown, Indiana, and Gary Speer and his wife Linda of Centerville, Tennessee.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, and three sisters, Wanda Piatt, Lois Speer, and Ruth Level
