Donna S. Maxon, age 59, of Salem, died at 3 a.m. Friday, August 9, 2013 at her home. She was born February 8, 1954 in San Diego, California, a daughter of the late Dalton and Shirley (Stephens) Daniel. Before her retirement, Mrs. Maxon had worked for 30 years at Ventra Plastics as a Quality Assurance Inspector. She graduated high school in Poland, Ohio and enjoyed cooking, raising children and riding motorcycles. Her husband, Daniel Maxon, whom she married November 23, 1977, survives her along with a son, Daniel Maxon of Salem; a daughter, Desiree L. Maxon of Salem; a stepdaughter, Loretta Miller of Alliance; a sister, Dianna Lorea Chavez of Cuernavaca, Mexico; two brothers, Stephen (Emilie) Daniel of New York and D. David (Jeannie) Daniel of Pickerington, Ohio; and four grandchildren, Alexzander Maxon, Joshua Miller, Victoria (Nicolas) Porter and expecting soon, Jazmine Maxon.
