Gilmore City…Donna R. Frederiksen, the daughter of LeRoy and Gayleen (Pebbles) Ashley, was born February 15, 1950 in Marengo, IA. She was raised, received her education and graduated from Goldfield High School. She obtained her registered nursing degree in California. On July 3, 1969 she was united in marriage with Tommy Allen Frederiksen Sr. The couple lived in several locations including California, Kansas, Texas and Mississippi. The couple moved to Gilmore City in 2011.
Survivors include her husband Tom of Gilmore City, IA, children: David (Gerri) of Billings, Montana, Tami Range of Alpine, Mississippi, Christine (Jeff) of Wesley, IA, Tommy (Denise) of Gilmore City, IA, Melissa (Jeff) Jenkins of Anamosa, IA, Debbie (Charlie) Rakestraw of Gilmore City, IA, and Michael (Liz) of Manchester, IA, 26 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Donna loved crafting, dancing, playing cards and cooking. She was a very faithful Christian and loved any and all family gatherings.
