Mrs. Pedler went to be with the Lord Tuesday afternoon, November 25, 2014. She was born on September 26, 1927 in Battle Creek, MI, the daughter of the late Vaughn Dean and Evelyn Meabon Drake. On April 5, 1947, Donna was united in marriage to Elf Pedler, who preceded her in death on April 18, 2006.
Donna was a very happy, independent and energetic woman. She was very loving and also was a foster mother. Donna and Elf loved to walk at the mall and on the Kal-Haven Trail. Surviving are her two children; Dave Sarah Pedler of Kernersville, NC, and Linda Alling of Kalamazoo; six grandchildren, Chad Pedler of NC, Cory Pedler of NC, Casey Pedler of NC, Andy Sarah Alling of Martin, Adam Lisa Alling of Thompsonville, and Sarah Sean Shinners of Kalamazoo and eight great-grandchildren, Alexis, Emma, Sam and London Pedler; Mary Jane, Cameron and Kiersten Alling and Thomas Shinners.
