Donna May (Sylvester) Hill, 90, of Pendleton, passed away peacefully at her residence in the presence of family on February 23, 2017. She was born on September 15, 1926 in Lapel, and lived in this area all her life. In the early years of her marriage, she worked at Brockway Glass, and later became a Homemaker. She enjoyed traveling and spending the winters in Bradenton, FL until her husband passed away. Donna attended Lapel High School, and was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and loved nothing more than spending her time with her family. Donna is survived by her loving daughter, Rhonda (Mark) Williams of Pendleton, grandchildren, Shaun (Beth) Williams of Markleville, Tyler (Megan) Williams of Pendleton, great-granddaughter, Ella Williams, Fiona Williams, Eastyn Williams, one great-grandchild on the way in May; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Duane Hill on October 15, 2012, parents, Donald and Maude (McDole) Sylvester, four brothers, Mac McDole, Gerald “Fat” Sylvester, George “Jake” Sylvester, Frank Sylvester, two sisters, Betty J. Lott, and Helen Sylvester.
