Donna M. Schena, age 50, of Plymouth, passed away on Wednesday, September 29th, at the BID Hospital in Boston. She was the devoted wife of Sean Schena. Loving mother of Joshua Schena, and Christopher Schena, both of Plymouth. She is also survived by her siblings Robert McCarron, Lisa McCarron, and Shelly McCarron.Donna was born in Dorchester on November 19, 1970, daughter of Robert E. and Lois (Zeghibe) McCarron. She was a graduate of Quincy High School and went on to make her career as an editor of medical journals for Stellar Medical Publications. Loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Donna will be most remembered for her boundless kindness, generosity, thoughtfulness, infectious smile and her constant efforts to lighten the burden of those around her. Donna was a precious gift, who was loved and appreciated beyond words by her family and friends. She was an avid fan of New England sports teams, enjoyed good food, trivia and country music, despite having only one dance move. She loved playing with her dogs and enjoyed her annual family vacations to Hilton Head Island. Donna was proud of her professional work as a medical journal editor and was an active volunteer in her community. Most of all, Donna was proud beyond measure of her beloved sons who brought her immense joy and embody her love, humor and grace.
