Donna Marie Finnerty (nee Grimm), 59, of Barnhart, MO, was born November 3, 1962, in Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022, at her home. Donna grew up in Pittsburgh, PA before moving to the O’Fallon, IL area in the early 1990’s. She started her own company, Graphic Outfitters in Fairview Heights, IL. Donna’s passion in life was caring for others, and she did so as a nurse’s aide for several nursing homes in the area. She also enjoyed playing with her grandchildren, being outdoors, biking, and was previously in a Corvette Club.
Donna was preceded in death by her mother, Geraldine Randall (nee Sontheimer); and her husband, Gary Key. Donna is survived by her father, Thomas Grimm; her two sons, Chris (Rachel) Finnerty of O’Fallon, IL, and Brenden (Lauren) Finnerty of Wentzville, MO; five sisters, Debbie Joyce, Mary Jean Grimm, Jennifer (Rich) Santaguido, Paulette Randal, and Lisa Randal-Moreno all of Pittsburgh, PA; one brother, Tommy (Teri) Grimm of Pittsburgh, PA; four grandchildren, Crew Finnerty, Stevi Finnerty, Maggie Finnerty, and Liam Finnerty; and many nieces and nephews.
