Donna Lind of Cambridge, formerly of Rush City, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Rosewood Senior Living in Cambridge at the age of 89.
Donna Mae Ramberg was born on May 11, 1933 to Henry and Julia (Wredberg) Ramberg in Rushseba Township, Chisago County, Minnesota. She was the seventh child in a large family of 13 children. She attended schools in Harris and North Branch. Donna married Donald H. Lind on August 15, 1953. They lived in Minneapolis for a few years before moving back to the Harris/Rush City area. Donna was employed at various businesses in the area over the years, but mostly she enjoyed being a stay-at-home mother, caring for her family. She enjoyed going out for dinner with friends, snowmobiling and was as an active member of the Rush City Sno-Bugs for many years.
Don and Donna were married for nearly 60 years, before Don’s passing August 2, 2013. After Don passed away and Donna needed more assistance, she moved to assisted living at Rosewood Senior Living in Cambridge. Donna will be remembered for her love of her family and her calm and quiet demeaner.
Donna is survived by sons Terry (Patty) Lind of Braham, Tom Lind of Rush City; grandsons Doug (Katie) Lind of Braham, James Lind of Braham; great-granddaughters Caroline and Willa Lind; siblings Katherine Anderson of Pine City, Russ (deceased 12/25/2022) (Judy) Ramberg of North Branch; sisters-in law, Sharon Ramberg and Carol Ramberg both of North Branch, Jan Lind of Rush City; Godson Mike Lind; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Julia Ramberg; husband Donald H. Lind; daughter Tammy Lind; siblings Allen Ramberg, Violet Lueth, Carroll Ramberg, Donald Ramberg, Joyce Anderson, Betty Krysinski, Jon Ramberg, Gladys Falk, Lyle Ramberg, and Marvin Ramberg.
