Went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday morning, December 15, 2020. Donna was born October 26, 1926 in Holland, MI the daughter of William and Anna (Oetman) Overway. She was an active and longtime member of Prairie Edge Christian Reformed Church. In her early years, Donna worked at Star Sandwich Shop and Western Machine Tool Works in Holland, MI. Donna then supported her husband Andy in the office work of his lighting business.
Donna enjoyed spending time with her family, quilting, sewing, reading, knitting, crocheting, doing puzzles, and watching the Detroit Tigers. Andy and Donna enjoyed traveling and camping. They spent many years at Kline’s Resort.
On June 18, 1952 Donna was united in marriage to her loving husband, Andrew Kragt who preceded her in death on October 9, 2020. She was also preceded in death by her sons, Calvin and Robert Kragt; a grandson, Curtis Jacobs; and 2 brothers, Preston and Norman Overway. She is survived by her children, Brenda Kragt, Valerie (Jeff) Jeanpierre, Lynne Jacobs, Jennifer (Hank) Nederhoed; daughter-in-law, Deb Kragt; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
