Donna L. Geese, 67, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at her residence.
Mrs. Geese was born on September 22, 1954, in Huntington, IN, to Kenyon and Jane E. (Holt) Settlemyre. Her parents preceded her in death.
She married Jeffrey G. Geese on May 25, 1985, and he survives and resides in Huntington.
Donna was a 1972 graduate of Huntington North High School. She was an Advertising Assistant at Our Sunday Visitor for over 25 years. She was a lifetime member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and a member of the church choir.
Donna was fond of animals, especially cats, and loved taking care of them and helping them. She also enjoyed helping people and seeing them happy made her happy as well. She loved being outside, literature and music. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Along with her husband, Jeff, Donna is survived by one son, Aaron Geese (Nikita Kowal), Huntington, IN, two brothers: Jim Settlemyre, Huntington, IN, Larry (Linda) Salz, Tonica, IL; one sister, Jeanine Settlemyre, Huntington, IN; and one grandchild, Hayden Geese, Warren, IN.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Sonja L. Atwell.
