Donna Farrell Goff, loving wife, mother and grandmother, 74 of Newburg, WV went to Heaven on Sunday, February 1, 2015 at her residence with family by her side. She was born on March 14, 1940 in Morgantown, WV, daughter of the late Kenneth “Sam” and Dimple Rose Farrell. She was a member of Shay’s Chapel Church. Donna graduated from Newburg High School in 1958. She retired as an Educational Assistant with Preston County Schools with the Kindergarten classes. Donna loved baking, crocheting doilies, gardening, canning, watching soap operas, going to flea markets and spending time with her grandchildren. Donna is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Carl Goff; one daughter, Peggy Straight, Berlin, MD; one son, Carl Stanley Goff, Morgantown, WV; three grandchildren, Kelsie Straight, Birmingham, AL, Karlie Straight, Berlin, MD, and Hollie Cozzett, Fairmont, WV; five siblings, Lorretta Hackett and William, Sterling Park, VA; Barbara Holsinger, Arthurdale, WV; Eleanor Maxwell and Richard, Grand Island, FL; Kenneth Farrell Jr. and Ernestine; Bernard Farrell and Nancy, both of Newburg, WV; brother-in-law, Bill Cline, Grafton, WV; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Cline and son-in-law, Jeff Straight.
