Donna L. Cummins, 57 years, of Virginia, IL died Thursday afternoon, January 3, 2008 at her residence.
She was born November 16, 1950 in Beardstown, IL; the daughter of John and Mary Ann Greenleaf Frank.
She is survived by one son, Steve Cummins of Rapid City, SD; two brothers, Mike (wife, Cheryl) Frank of Beardstown and Stanley Frank of Jacksonville; three grandchildren, Zacharia Cummins, Brianna Cummins and Alyssa Cummins; several nieces and nephews; and a close friend, Sherry Murphy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, Chester â??Chetâ? Fair; and her companion, Heston Murphy.
Mrs. Cummins was employed at Hertzberg-New Method Book Bindery in Jacksonville. She formerly worked for the Illinois Secretary of State in Springfield, the former Oscar Meyer plant in Beardstown, and provided maintenance work for McDonalds Restaurant in Beardstown.
She was an avid horse lover and a devoted fan of country and western music. Her favorite recording artist was Hank Williams Jr. She always enjoyed a good practical joke especially on April Fool’s Day. She was of the protestant faith.
