Donna Kay Simmons, 64, passed away on Saturday afternoon of complications following her treatment of Leukemia.
Born May 18, 1957 near Hagerstown MD she was the daughter of Charles and Evelyn Hessong. She leaves her beloved husband of 27 years, Mark Simmons, whom she married Sept. 10, 1993 on the beautiful beach of Assateague state park.
She was primarily a homemaker, but also taught art and provided personal elder care in her later years.
She is survived by Sons Jarod and Chase Simmons; Brother Steven C. Hessong and wife Robin of Chambersburg, PA; Sister Jeanne A. Endrikat & husband Hans of Manassas, and many nieces and nephews.
