Donna Karlene Hill, 60, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away surrounded by loved ones on Friday, October 25, 2019, after a courageous fight against cancer.  She is survived by her husband David, her daughter Jennifer, son-in-law Carlos and her granddaughter Charlotte. She will be dearly missed by her father Richard, sister Marcia, brother Richard, her niece Kelli, and three nephews Joey, Justin and Zack, along with seven dearly loved grand-nieces and nephews. She  leaves behind hundreds of life-long friendships.

Donna was born in Bellefountaine, Ohio on September 28, 1958.  At 14, she met the love of her life David, who she married at age 19. Together, they moved to Boca Raton to build their life together. Along with a strong and happy marriage, Donna had a successful 40-year career as an executive assistant for multiple Fortune 500 companies. She was a dedicated employee, winning awards and was commended for her strong work ethic and astute business sense.

In 1989, Donna gave birth to her daughter Jennifer. Being a wife to David and mother to Jennifer was her priority and greatest joy. After losing her own mother to the same terrible disease in 1994, Donna quickly became the family matriarch.  She held the wisdom of her family; all that knew her trusted her guidance and leaned on her in times of need. Her sharp wit, and easy-going demeanor made her fast friends and the light of every room.

Prior to her illness, Donna loved walking, was an avid reader and loved taking vacations throughout the United States. She loved watching sports and could hold her own in all sports-related conversations. She also completed the Susan G. Komen 3-day 60-mile walk in honor of her mother.

Donna Hill always gave her time and her heart, and we will forever miss her smile and laughter. Her passing tears a tremendous hole in our hearts.
