Donna Kay Cook, 67, of Westminster, died Thursday, October 17, 2013 at home. Born June 16, 1946 in Silver Run, she was the daughter of the late Sterling Arthur Wentz and Cora Irene Dell Wentz.
She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church; she enjoyed Bible study at Grace Lutheran Church and Timber Ridge, Ardent Folk, Pastor Martha’s Book Club, bingo at the senior center, reading, and word searches. She attended of Francis Scott Key High School.
Surviving are children Ronald E. Wentz and Sheila McDermitt both of Westminster, sisters Patsy Sleeger of Sykesville, Shirley Wentz of Westminster, Linda Robertson of Berkley Springs, W.Va., brothers Edgar Wentz of Union Bridge and Wayne Wentz of Thurmont. Also surviving are nieces, nephews and cousins.
