Guilford Lake- Donna June Polen, age 87, passed away on August 16, 2016 with her children by her side. She was reunited with her loving husband Carl on their 69th wedding anniversary. She was born June 6, 1929 in Kensington, Ohio, the daughter of the late Wilbur M. and Reta J. (Poe) Amon.
Donna worked in the bakery at Hull’s Market for many years. She attended Augusta High School and was a member of Kensington First Christian Church, the Harmony Sunday school class and the Ladies Aid of the church.
Her husband, Carl E. Polen, whom she married August 16, 1947 preceded her in death on February 24, 2002. A brother, Richard Amon; and an infant sister, Viola also preceded her in death.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Linda (Butch) Randolph, and Connie (Roger) Kelly; a son, Tom (Bev) Polen, all of Guilford Lake; 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild; 2 sisters, Pauline Martin and Shirley Carmen, both of Sebring.
