Donna Martinson passed peacefully at home on September 14th surrounded by family and friends.
Donna was born in Dubuque, Iowa and married Dean Martinson in 1971. They spent most of their married life in Florida where she spent her career working as a cardiac Registered Nurse.
They moved to Payson, AZ in 2007 where she enjoyed 14 very good years of retirement. Many new friends were made, which meant several new activities including hiking with the Payson Packers, traveling with friends, ballroom dancing, golf, and quilting. The first weekend after moving to Payson she adopted her beloved golden retrievers, Duke and Ellie. Dean was sure this ended his plans for travel, but really only caused the purchase of a 5th wheel so the dogs could go along.
Donna is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Dean, 3 sons, 2 grandchildren and 2 daughters -in-law, her identical twin sister Dianna and family.
