Donna went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday morning, December 18, 2016 at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence. She was born on March 27, 1937 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Steven and Nellie (Fredricks) Roede. She was a member of Westwood Christian Reformed Church.
On January 27, 1957, she was married to Stewart Terpstra, who preceded her in death on June 10, 1997. On January 6, 2001, she was married to Hollis Vlietstra, who survives.
Also surviving are her four children: Nancy (Mark) McDade of Westport, CT, Jay Terpstra of Bridgeport, CT, Gary (Kaylynn) Terpstra of Lawton and Brian Terpstra of Cutlerville; grandchildren: Pamela (Brian) Price, C. Lee McDade, Teresa Terpstra, Justin Terpstra, Brandon (Haley) Terpstra, Elise (Brian) Dodson, Shelby (Josh) Lucky, Lee Terpstra, Micah Terpstra, Isaac Terpstra and Jacob Terpstra; three step-sons: Ric Vlietstra, Bob (Liz) Vlietstra and Bill (Marcia) Vlietstra; step-grandchildren: Mark (Erin) Vlietstra, Scott (Jennifer) Vlietstra, Holly (Jeff) Diebel, Andrew Vlietstra, Betsy (Scott) Nuismer, Jeff Vlietstra and Amanda (Dustin) Prescott; siblings: Jay Roede, Myrt (Harold) Nylaan, and Dale (Karen) Roede; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Also preceding her in death were her parents and grandson, Dirk Terpstra.
