Donna Janice Sellers was born on March 24, 1934 at the family farm in Oakley, IA to Ross and Mildred (Shelton) Welch.
After graduating from Chariton High School, Donna worked for Bankers Life in Des Moines, IA and then worked part time at Chariton Floral. Donna retired from the Hy-Vee Warehouse in 2001.
She was active with both the American Legion Auxiliary and the Donna’s Club.
Donna passed away January 29, 2016, at the age of 81 at the Lucas County Health Center in Chariton, IA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom; her sister Margaret, and her parents.
