Donna Jean “Mimi” (Donato) (Wholey) Jesse, age 72, born September 4, 1946, of West Palm Beach, FL, formerly of Wareham, MA. She fought a long and courageous battle and passed peacefully on May 30, 2019. She was the loving mother of her sons Michael Wholey and his wife Jhaki of Plymouth, MA and Robert Wholey of West Palm Beach, FL. The cherished sister of Robert Donato and his wife Phyllis of West Roxbury. The loving grandmother to Vianna, Micajah, Alexandra, Jordyn, Herbert and great-grandmother to Micajah. She also leaves behind her former husband Daniel “Sonny” Jesse of Kingston, MA.Donna was raised in Jamaica Plain surrounded by loving family members. She was a member of the Our Lady of Lordes Drum and Bugle Corps. She worked many years as an accountant. Quilting became a passion of hers in retirement. Her strength and tenacity will be missed greatly by all of her friends and acquaintances in both Massachusetts and Florida.
