Donna Arlene (Kent) Pappas, 69, of Peru, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2019 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington. Mrs. Pappas was born October 14, 1949 in Christopher to Arland W. and Delphia M. (Lefler) Kent. She married Dimitrios J. Pappas and he passed away September 10, 2013. Mrs. Pappas was a very simple and loving person, always showing concern for others.
She enjoyed conversations and spending time with close friends. She was devoted and very strong in her faith and was a member of First Baptist Church, LaSalle. She especially loved her children and grandchildren. She also loved and enjoyed her dogs, Daisy Mae, Lucy and Dot Dot. Survivors include two sons, Jason Pappas of North Carolina and A.J. (Michelle) Pappas of Peru; two daughters, Michelle Anderson and Lisa Pappas both of Georgia; three grandchildren, Curtis, Christopher and Lily and one brother, Ron Kent. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
