Donna Alice Medell Stephens returned to her Father in Heaven while surrounded by family in her home of 44 years on November 14, 2021. She was received on the other side of the veil by her parents Donald Ward Medell & Dorthy Leatha Rock Medell and many other wonderful family and friends.
Donna was born in Ogden, Utah April 11, 1945, but grew up mostly in Roy, Utah. She is the second of seven children, two sisters and four brothers. Donna attended school with her sweetheart but didn’t know it for sixteen years, she graduated from Weber High School, otherwise known as Shopko high to the old folks. She went on to some college, although she never was able to finish and get her degree. Bill and Donna met officially after dad returned from the war they dated for a time and finally were married and sealed in the Ogden Utah Temple on June 16, 1973. Even though mom was told she would have no children God showed his plan and she became pregnant right away spending the next eight years expecting, they wanted thirteen but ended at six, five boys and a girl. Raising them all in Riverdale, Utah.
Donna was a very happy and loving person she cared deeply for others and strived daily to perform acts of service. She was known for her good cooking and was often called upon to take food into ward members. She had a revolving door and was known as momma Donna the best cook and meanest mom in the neighborhood. She never turned away a soul and even took in all the homeless pets that the neighborhood kids would bring to her. She loved camping, sewing, dancing, boating, fishing, water fights with the grandkids and canning while listening to Christmas music. Most of all she loved her sixteen grandkids, Kylie, Gavin, Abbey, Brock, Tayler, Tyce, Buckley, Kelton, cambree, Nolee, Makinley, Grayson, Easton, zoey, Harper and Jazlyn.
Donna is Survived by her husband William B Stephens, children; Troy Stephens, Jodi (David) Miller, Sean (Malissa) Stephens, Josh (Denise) Stephens, Tony (Tiffany)Stephens, Zachariah Stephens, her siblings and many nieces and nephews all of whom she loves very much.
