DONALD WILLIAM ‘BILL’ WOLFE
March 21, 1944 – April 3, 2016
Bill Wolfe was born March 21, 1944 in Hadley, Mercer Co, PA to Charles Wesley and Virginia Ruth (Heckman) Wolfe, who both preceded him in death. He passed away of cancer on April 3, 2016 in Grand Junction, CO.
Bill is survived by two sons: Christopher & Sally Wolfe of Woodinville, WA, and Jason & Leah Wolfe of San Jose, CA, and 2 granddaughters, Reagan & Taylor. He is also survived by his wife Audrey Wolfe; and sisters Elizabeth Ann Conn of Hadley, Joanna Ruth Surano of Greenville, V. Carol Smith and husband Richard of State College, and Mary Lou Wolfe and husband David Smith who reside on the family farm in Hadley.
Bill graduated from Commodore Perry Joint Area School In 1962, and entered the U.S. Navy where he served as a Reactor Technician on nuclear submarines until 1968. He then earned a BS degree from University of Colorado. He worked for various insurance and investment firms throughout his career.
