Donald “Hotshot” Webb, 73, of Northview, passed away Friday, August 28, 2015 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV following a brief illness.
He was born June 27, 1942 in Clarksburg; son of the late Wade and Mildred Anderson Webb.
Don is survived by his wife, of 39 years, Linda Pollace Webb; one son, Donald Lee Webb, II and wife, Cathy of Stonewood; two grandsons; Hunter Lee of Florida, Landon Donald Webb of Stonewood; a special niece, Letricia Bowyer Hyler of Harpers Ferry; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by one son, Timothy Michael Webb; two sisters, Norma Goodwin Fawcett and Geraldine Lambert.
Don graduated from Victory High School class of 1960. He served in the US Navy during the Cuban crises at Guantanamo. He retired from Martinka Coal Mines as a continuous miner operator.
