Donald Wayne Rusk , 81, of Terre Haute passed away Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 1:15 a.m. at his residence.
He was born December 20, 1929 in Shandon, Ohio to James Rice Rusk and Nettie Adams Rusk.
Donald worked at J.I. Case and Catipillar Tractor Company in Joliet, Illinois. Donald served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War and was an avid racing enthusiast. Donald was an honest and hard working man.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mary McGoughey and Ruth Darley and brothers, Richard Rusk and Francis Rusk.
Donald is survived by his wife, Lorena Stabler Rusk, whom he married November 27, 1954. He is also survived by two daughters, Donna Eisman and her husband Mike; Di Anne Winters and Tom Reed of Bowling Green, Indiana; a son, Brian Rusk of Terre Haute. He is survived by two brothers, James Rusk of Zenia, Ohio and Robert Rusk of Texas; a sister, Dorothy Koester of Neoga, Illinois. Donald is also survived by grandchildren, Lorah Miller and her husband, Nick, Joshua Rusk, Jeremiah Winters and wife Kelsey, Serena Winters, Dalton Rusk and Jarod Craig; great grandchildren, Jushia Arnold and Owen Miller and several nieces and nephews.
