Donald T. Bray
Donald T. Bray, 88, died February 25, 2011, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Boise, Idaho from complications of congestive heart failure.
Don Bray was born March 9, 1922 near The Dalles, Oregon to Solon and Ada Bray.
In the 1960’s Don started two water treatment companies, Desalination Systems, Inc. and Nimbus Water Systems, Inc.
His penchant for big projects extended to his love of gardening. Don built bountiful and interesting gardens everywhere he lived and was well-known for sharing an amazing variety of roses, berries, fruits and vegetables with family and friends.
Don loved backpacking in the Sierra’s, camping in Baja, California and seeing new places.
Don is survived by his wife of 25 years, Julianne LaFrankie Bray; his daughter Nancy A. Bray, PhD; his stepchildren and their spouses, Scott and Suzanne Huxhold, Michael and Devon Goodbody, Anthony and Patricia Capone, Teresa and Randy Schlaffer; seven grandchildren, Joseph Huxhold, Michael Goodbody III, Matthew Goodbody, Daniel Goodbody, Maura Goodbody, Cameron Capone and Amy Capone; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two of his daughters, Kathy Bray and Amy Bray.
He will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.
