Donald Speckmann, 76, of Bayville, NJ died on Sunday March 15, 2015 at his home. Born in Newark, NJ he lived in Union, NJ before moving to Bayville, NJ in 1980.
Donald was a race enthusiast and an owner of race horses racing out of Monmouth Park Oceanport, NJ. He was a truck driver of 20 years for Ocean County Utilities. Donald was predeceased by his parents John and Margaret (Whelan) Speckmann and his daughter Carolyn Cahill.
Surviving is his loving wife Jacquelyn (Becht) Speckmann; his three sons Glenn Speckmann of Fl, John Gonter of North Carolina and Peter Gonter of North Carolina; his three daughters Colleen Pantella, Christine Kutcher and Catherine Varner all of Bayville, NJ; fourteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
