Donald Shane Singleton, 40, of Vincennes, In, passed away July 9, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Hospital at 7:05 AM. He was born January 10, 1974 in Vincennes the son of Lucinda B Wheatley Arthur and Walker E. Singleton.
He was a graduate of Lincoln High School and Vincennes University as a certified nursing assistant. He was an ordained minister and he ministered and preached at nursing homes. He formerly was a member of the Son’s of the American Legion. He is survived by his mother, Lucinda “Cindy” Arthur of Vincennes, IN, his father, Walker E. Singleton of Dayton, OH, his children, Alice Rose Singleton of Vincennes, Joshua Shane Singleton and Levi Douglas Singleton both of Linton, IN. Sisters, Sheena Arthur of Vincennes, IN, Twyla Jean Singleton of St. Louis, MO, Mable Singleton of Dayton, Ohio and Susie Singleton of Tallahassee, FL.
His paternal grandmother, Doris Jean Metz of Xenia, OH also survives. He had two special nephews, Tayden and Blakeley Arthur that he thought as his own. He will be missed by his uncles, aunts, and many cousins.
