In Donald’s early years he boxed for Aztec Boxing club winning multiple championships which include the Golden Gloves and placing 3rd at the National Junior Olympics, as well as being awarded outstanding boxer at the same event. He was a renowned Quarter Horse and Thoroughbred Jockey that would travel across the USA becoming one of the best the industry would ever see. He would continue to enjoy his passion for animals by training horses and dogs. He loved to hunt, fish, and shoot guns with friends and family. He would take care of anyone that needed it or didn’t have anyone to help. This kindness would come full circle when he moved home to Bloomfield to help take care of his mother Lupita that is currently suffering from Dementia. Everyone who would come to know him would see his kind and loving heart and willingness to help others. He had a son that he treasured and helped make into the wonderful man that he is today. The world has lost one of the greatest people to ever grace the earth, and heavens light will grow brighter with his addition.
