Don’s early school years were spent at the Saint Lazarus School in East Boston followed by Winthrop High School where he graduated in 1945.

Don developed passions as a young man that stayed with him through out life. He was passionate for cars, especially his 1934 Buick and his Corvette(s); sailing , whether it was during Race Week in the 1950’s or sailing for enjoyment with his friends later in life, but most of all, he was passionate about his family.

There was nothing more important than family.

The family has been blessed by his presence.
