DONALD S. KRAHN passed away on Friday, October 3, 2008 , at the age of 61. Don was the son of the late Donald and the late Helen Krahn, and is survived by his two daughters Jodie Krahn and Amy Krahn-Stella. His lifetime passion was music and the performing arts. He was a member of the marching band at Maple Heights High School , and went on to earn both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in music from Case Western Reserve University. After finishing his Master’s degree, he spent 25 years teaching music in both the Cleveland and Warrensville Heights public school systems. In addition to his career, he was an active member of the community including the Maple Heights Jaycees, Independence Kiwanis, and community performing arts.
