Donald R. Miller
Donald R. Miller, 90, of Rowlesburg, died Saturday, February 13, 2016, at home with family by his side.
He was born August 21, 1925, in Rowlesburg, a son of the late Peter and Florence Plum Miller.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Donald served in the US
Army during WWII, in the pacific region, Guam, Japan and Philippines. He was a laborer with the Labor Union 379 in Morgantown and an active member of the Christ United Methodist Church. Donald loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting and woodworking.
He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Viola Marie Watkins Miller; his son, Larry Miller and wife, Lorna of Manheim; five daughters, Linda Wilt and husband, Gene of Rowlesburg, Sandy Shrout and husband, Jim of Kingwood, Sharon Miller of Kingwood; Patricia Parker and husband, Russell and Celesta Rodeheaver and husband, Charlie all of Terra Alta; eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Kevin Lee Miller, his three brothers and his sister.
