Donald R. Russell, age 73, of Trussville, passed away August 2, 2013. Mr. Russell was a Deputy District Attorney for 30 years and served 4 years in the US Air Force and was in the JAG for 4 years in the US Naval Reserve. He was a member of Trussville First United Methodist and was baptized in 2010. Mr. Russell was also President of the Trussville Little League for 10 years. He was preceded in death by his son Donald Ray “Donnie” Russell and brother Raymond Russell.
