Naugatuck – Mr. Donald Richard Phillips, 79, of Naugatuck, formerly of Ormond Beach, Florida passed away peacefully, on Tuesday October 14, 2014 in the VITAS Unit at St. Mary’s Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Leigh (Sirois) Phillips. Mr. Phillips was born in Derby on January 15, 1935 a son to the late Herman and Veronica (O’Neil) Phillips. He was retired after working for 36 years in the gatehouse at the Uniroyal Inc.
