Mr. Donald Ray Williams, 65 of 411 Park St., High Point, died on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.
Don was born May 16, 1946 in High Point, NC to the late Mac Williams and Geraldine Covington Williams. He was educated in the High Point Public Schools. Don was an accomplished concrete finisher, and he was previously employed by Davis Milling. He was a loving and friendly person who was known by many and will be truly missed by all. His greatest joys were his children, family and friends.
Additionally to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Williams, two brothers, one sister, and a loving and devoted friend, Lisa Dunlap.
Don is survived by three sons, Tim Williams and Corey (Shona) Williams of Columbus, Georgia,and Ray Phiefer of High Point, two daughters, Charita Wardlaw Williams, and Shelby Jean (Artha) LeGrande Alford all of High Point; one brother, Karl (Barbara) Walker of Advance, NC; five sisters, Donnie (Carson) Rudd, Dianna Teasley, Gale Melton and Beverly Williams Lewis all of High Point, and Wanda Williams Davis of Raleigh, NC; six grandchildren, aunts, uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
