Donald Paul Leffingwell

East Lyme – Donald Paul Leffingwell, 79 of Village Court died Tuesday March 22, 2016 in Bride Brook Health & Rehab. He was the loving husband of Joanne (Falman) Leffingwell for 53 years. Born in Norwich, he was the son of the late Albert & Rita (Peloquin) Leffingwell.
Donald was a 1958 graduate of the University of Connecticut and then served in the US Army. He was employed as a life insurance agent for Prudential Insurance for 33 years. He enjoyed playing golf and following the UConn women’s basketball team, the Boston Redsox, and the New York Giants.
In addition to his wife, Donald is survived by his daughter Karen Leffingwell of Montville and his four grandchildren; Ashley Leffingwell, Joshua Leffingwell, Emily Leffingwell and Maya Leffingwell. He was predeceased by his daughter Debra Leffingwell who died in 2008.
