Donald P. Golden of Carver formerly of Plymouth, passed away peacefully in his home on December 8th with family at his side. Beloved husband of Christa (Schonebeck) Golden. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on December 31, 1939, son of the late Paul and Elizabeth (Baxter) Golden. Educated in Marshfield and a graduate of Marshfield High School class of 1957 where he was Vice President of his class and the organizer of their 50th class reunion. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1961- 1964 in Berlin upon returning from the military he went to work for the telephone company later known as Verizon as a lineman moving up to engineer working in the office. Donald enjoyed being in his yard and spending time tending to his koi pond and was an avid car buff, especially mustangs. His greatest joy was time spent with his family and friends.Besides his loving wife Christa he is survived by his daughters Cathy Gardner and her husband George of Plymouth, Marie Golden of Plymouth and the late Jenny Golden and his son Christopher Golden and his wife Kimberly of Arkansas. Grandfather (Opa) of Gregory, Jason, Savanna, Josh, Nackia, Sierra, Ian and John. He was the brother of Norman Golden of PA.
