Don lived a happy and full life.  He enjoyed and invested his time in the local art community, surf fishing, going to estate sales and researching paintings that he would find at the estate sales.   Don was a self-proclaimed introvert, yet he never met a stranger and possessed the ability to engage with most anyone and make them feel welcomed.  He had a passion for retelling stories of his life, sharing them with his children, grand children and friends alike.
