Donald Nettleton Porter, age 86, lifelong resident of Milford and a descendent of the early Milford settler, Samuel Burns, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2014 at Milford Hospital. Born in Milford on November 21, 1928, he was the son of the late Ceylon and Helen Porter. Don was employed by Fraser’s Supermarket at the corner of High and Broad St., and prior to his retirement was an employee of the State of CT Department of Transportation, Milford Repair Garage.
He is survived by his loving nieces and nephews; Barbara Jettie of Milford, Richard Porter of Orange, Margaret (Peggy) Vitro of Milford, Mary Porter of Milford, Thomas Porter, Robert Porter and William Porter all of W. Haven Judy Field of Milford, Holly Grace of W.
