Donald Leon Davis, 80, Chesterfield, passed away December 11, 2010 at Millers Merry Manor-Chesterfield after an extended illness.
He was born December 14, 1929 in Pendleton, Indiana, and resided in Madison County all of his life. Donald was a graduate of Anderson High School and served his country in the Indiana Army National Guard. He retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 46 years of employment. Donald was a member of the Mount Moriah Masonic Lodge #77 F. & A.M. for over 25 years and had held the position of Past Master. He was devoted to his wife of over 52 years, Anna, and his family. He loved country music and traveling. He is survived by his sons, Steve Davis Cathy of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Doran Davis of Anderson; grandchildren, Christopher Davis Michele and Michelle Bradley GW Bradley; great-grandchildren, Preston, Kaylee and Kyle; siblings, Norman Davis Marie of Leesburg, Florida, Virginia Wood, Marie Dotson, Janice Parish and Jean McSherry of Anderson.
Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Anna May Hughes Davis; his parents, Emmer “Jack” & Mildred Mills Davis; brothers, Kenneth Davis and Clarence Davis.
